Frontend was chosen among several design agencies to redesign the website of one of Ireland’s leading architectural practices, Henry J Lyons & Partners. With approximately 140 staff in Ireland and countless awards and citations the site is a key marketing initiative to promote their design services and showcase their portfolio. The challenge was to produce a website that had strong visual impact, incorporated their identity, while also ensuring the target audience is navigated to appropriate content on the site.
Frontend worked closely with Henry J Lyons to produce a site structure that is intuitive to use, a visual design that has high impact and content that is appropriate to the target audience. Design concepts explored alternative approaches to the look and feel and the impact on user interaction.
Taking into account feedback from the project team, Frontend finalised the visual design. The site is built using Frontend’s content management tool allowing staff throughout the organisation to update the website regularly. Images on the homepage are changed dynamically providing the illusion that the site is continuously updated and showcasing new projects.
