Interaction Design - GMAC Risk Compliance Application

Frontend worked with GMAC to improve the effectiveness and ease of use of their Risk Compliance application aimed at the financial industry. Working within tight timescales for development and testing, Frontend completed the interface design and interaction portion of the project in less than a month from start to finish.

The design challenge focused on how to transform such large volumes of hard data into readable information. Frontend maximised the use of graphics and conditional formatting to reduce the amount of text and to ensure that user could gain an overview of the system at a glance.

From a technical perspective we made extensive use of external style sheets combined with web standard XHTML code to develop high quality templates. The code was designed to make global changes and the inevitable additions and modifications straightforward. The interface components are developed to be modular and robust so that the code can be re-used in new versions or configurations of the system.
