Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.
– Margaret Mead
DesignFix is an annual programme which brings together expert think-tanks, design colleges and designers at Frontend.com to develop human-centred design solutions to some of the greatest societal challenges facing the world.
The outputs of these projects have influenced International Organisations and Governments around the world on issues of great importance to us all.
- In 2016, Frontend.com worked with the United Nations’ migration agency, IOM, to conceptualise the multi-award winning ‘Future Vision for Migrant Healthcare‘.
- In 2017 we coordinated an exploration into the rise of populism and wrote the Rules of Engagement; Design Principles for Civic Dialogue in a Post-Truth Era to detail these findings.
A large part of DesignFix is creating a learning environment for the students we work with. To that end, we are working with our academic partners and exploring topics for our 2018 programme.
Have you a suggested topic or challenge that you think DesignFix would be suited for? Or, want to know more, or want to get in contact for any reason, we welcome your input:
